Dynamic Structures is a globally leading provider of integrated, innovative solutions for complex structures and mechatronic systems.

Dynamic Structures projects range from to integrated robotic systems, to autonomous vehicles, to unique transit systems, subsea vessels, renewable energy projects to sophisticated telescope domes.   We have served customers all over the world.  Complex and challenging projects are our specialty.

Dynamic Structures is a multidisciplinary mechatronics engineering team offering mechanical, structural, controls, feasibility and R&D services.  With complete design and build capabilities, we take complex problems and apply unique, practical and cost effective solutions.  Our commitment to adaptability, flexibility and open mindedness ensures that we remain at the forefront of technology.

Dynamic Structures is perhaps best known for it’s work creating world renowned, high tech Theme Park Rides and Giant Astronomical Telescopes.   Additionally, we work with clients from around the world in a variety of market sectors.  At present our focus on Entertainment, Astronomy, Transportation, Infrastructure, Subsea, and Renewable Energy  industries.

The company was founded in 1926 as Vancouver Art Metal, and later named Coast Steel Fabricators before becoming Dynamic Structures. As a proud member of the Dynamic Technology Group since 2007, we offer end to end, innovative solutions to our clients all under one roof.  Though our name has changed, our goal remains the same; to bring extraordinary performance to every job we are involved with.

Dynamic Structures is headquartered in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia and is the R&D arm of Dynamic Technologies Group which has approximately 200 employees.
